Stephanie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ramapo College, and her Master of Science degree from Pace University. Stephanie has experience working in both non-profit as well as private therapy settings, treating a variety of disorders. She has provided individual as well as family and group counseling. She has experience treating people from all different backgrounds, and all different ages. She has provided outreach in the community for elders as well as struggling teens. She specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, members of the LGBTQ community, and those struggling with chronic illness and end of life. Stephanie is committed to treating each client as an individual, and providing a safe, warm, nonjudgmental environment. She believes in using a person centered approach in which the therapy is centered on the client with empathetic listening and unconditional acceptance. She also has specialization in CBT and motivational interviewing.
